Description
Hannah Cooper and the rest of the Fort Bridger settlers find their lives in peril during southern Wyoming’s worst winter in forty years. First the neighboring Indian tribes-except for the Crow-go on the warpath after some of the whites refuse them food. Then an influenza epidemic sweeps in on the tails of a raging blizzard, threatening both Fort Bridger and the Crow village. As the epidemic worsens and food supplies dwindle, Hannah and the other settlers must search their hearts for a way to respond to the crisis in compassion . . .and still survive.
