This book includes 18 chapters on how to make a good man strong, plus stories which graphically illustrate each principle. It is written as a direct result of the talk Jane gave at the 1993 Christian Womanhood Spectacular at Hyles-Anderson College, which is a ministry of the First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana.

Jane Grafton does not just give lip service in child rearing; she also gives life service to it. She would be the first to say, “I feel so inadequate. I need the help of people who have reared and are rearing happy, peaceful, obedient children.” She makes a reader feel hopeful when she writes as one who is constantly learning from others rather than as an expert writing to peons.
