Description
The Bible doesn't tell us what to do if trials come; it offers instructions for when. Sadly, many Christians stumble and fall during the valleys of life. This need not be the case. As believers in Christ we have a loving Lord and Shepherd to lead us through the darkness. Walking through the Valleys of Life offers scriptural insight and practical guidance for how to survive the struggles that so often leave us crying, "God, where are you?"
John 10:10 makes it clear, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
What a great promise to those who trust in the Lord, and follow His plan.
God has a purpose for each valley that He allows. This book reveals . . .
- Why God sends pain into our lives
- What our perspective and responses should be
- How to walk victoriously in spite of the burdens
This is a book that challenges hearts to keep looking to the Lord regardless of the circumstances, to embrace each valley as a chance to grow, and to let them have their perfect work in our lives.

About the Author:
Jerry Beaver is the Pastor of Victory Baptist Church in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. He writes this book from his experience as a pastor, counselor, and a Christian who has had his share of valleys. This book is derived from these experiences and his burden to help people from God's Word. Jerry holds a Bachelors degree in Theology, and a M.A. Biblical Counseling.
He writes about this book: This book was birthed out of a deep conviction that too many Christians fall during the valleys of life. This should not be the case, especially when we look at the promises from our Lord and Saviour. John 10:10 makes it clear, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." What a great promise to those who trust in the Lord, and follow His plan.
I really believe it grieves the heart of the Lord to see His children defeated and even destroyed in valleys, especially when He has allowed the valleys, and has a purpose for them in the makeup of our Christian lives. My prayer for this book is that it reveals to you God's plan and purpose for the valleys, and what our perspectives and responses should be in those valleys, and how to walk victorious in spite of all the burdens in this world. I pray this book will challenge our hearts to keep looking to the Lord, and stay in the valleys that God allowed us to walk through, and let them have their perfect work in our lives.
