Description
Samuel Morris began life as Kaboo, the eldest son of a tribal chieftain. He was a prince, but very soon he became accustomed to being a pawn, his life held in tortuous limbo until his father could repay his debts. Until, that is, Kaboo’s captors became too greedy and no amount of ivory could rescue him from a death of unbelievable cruelty.
And then the hand of God intervened. From Kaboo’s miraculous escape, to his baptism by missionaries, to his remarkable voyage to America where he would preach against segregation and slavery, the story of Samuel Morris is an adventure of divine proportions.
