The advice I am going to give is same advice I have given couples over the years as I have counseled them in my office. I always give this counsel to couples within the boundaries not to scold but to prevent marital problems. All of the lessons taught in these chapters are things that I have taught people of the First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana, in Wednesday night Bible studies. It is my desire that these principles will be used by many married couples to make their marriages more of what they ought to be. Perhaps most of all, I hope this book will be used as a training guide for young couples who are about to be married.
