Marlene Evans had a very multi-textured personality which God used to influence thousands of women many different ways in their Christian lives. She was a very fun person with a delightful personality, but she was also a woman who had memorized much Scripture and studied the Bible with diligence and intellect. She was a person who loved to talk; yet, she was one of the best listeners I have ever known. Her body was stricken with cancer, and while she faced her enemy and did what she could to be in the best health possible, she did not talk her poor health; she focused on what she could do. Because of these attributes, I wanted Christian Womanhood to publish a book that would be both entertaining and educational to capture her personality. – Cindy Hyles-Schaap
