The book is an expository study of the book of Galatians. Embodying the teachings of Christian liberty, Galatians would be used to combat the bondage of legalism.
Having preached the liberating truth of the gospel of grace to those in Galatia, the Apostle Paul would with pen, defend that gospel from the erroneous error of the Judaizers. Undermining the complete and finished work of Christ and the cross, the Judaizers preached a gospel of grace plus works.
Embodying the teachings of Christian liberty, Galatians would be used to combat the bondage of legalism. The gospel of the Judaizers is “do” and the gospel of Jesus is “done.” Only the application of the liberating truth found in the book of Galatians is sufficient to free God’s children from the shackles of legalism! “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32
