Description
1 Peter
This book is a detailed study of the book of 1 Peter. While Peter ranks among the best known of New Testament personalities; he gains little attention as a writer of Scripture. Except for a few select passages, little attention is given to the Epistles of Peter. In this Epistle, Peter is writing to enlighten and encourage the persecuted saints scattered across Asia Minor. If you know anything about the life of Simon Peter, you quickly realize that much of what he has to say is drawn from the wells of experience; both those of success and failure. From his writing one will reap the blessings of hope and help in the midst of troubling times.
